My Journey (as of 30 September 2017)

My life is not set in stone, but I do have plans and some of those plans won't be strayed from unless the Lord directs me otherwise.

During the summer of 2014 I worked at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground (and I LOVE it, y'all should totally come and stay here and see Bryce ;) ). I attended a community college back home (North Carolina) for a fall and spring semester as a full time student.

I returned to Ruby's for the summer of 2015 (yayyyyyyy!!!!!!).

I served in the Washington Seattle Mission from November 2015 to May 2017. This was the best thing I could have chosen for this time in my life. The Lord showed me so much and I'm so grateful for it.

I currently work for Drop Zone and dpInk in Carthage, NC as a personal assistant.

Fall of 2017, I have started on the path to get my associate's in early childhood education. After this I plan to get my bachelor's and master's in special education. I have felt strongly that I need to be in this field and the Lord has shown me time and time again that I am needed and there are people I am meant to meet and help.

This is how far I've planned. I figure I'll get a kitten named Rupert, get hitched, and get started on those bazillion Mormon babies (just kidding, at most six) sometime between coming back from my mission and graduating college (because I'll be in college for like 8 years). Otherwise, I'm getting a cottage in the country with my friend Abby, and raising a cat farm and starting an outdoor kindergarten.

Despite all of my career plans and whatnot, when I become a mother, that will be my priority in my life and those children and my marriage will come first no matter what. I am a firm believer in the wonderful calling of stay-at-home-mom, and I will proudly put on that hat during those years.
